These are perfect for kids and adults alike. Since the show is a big hit in the screens it is just right to create its own Doctor Who comics. When reading it, you will still have the same impact that you get when watching it. In the year 2008, IDW Publishing started to reprint the ‘Doctor Who Classics’ comic strips which shows the 4th Doctor. From black and white comic strips, it is now transformed to colored comic strips to add more life to it. ‘Doctor Who Classics’ was first published in the Doctor Who Magazine (DWM) towards the end of 1970 to early 1980s. The collection of stories known as ‘Doctor Who’ was also reprinted by IDW Publishing which then features the 10th Doctor. In the middle of 2008, a six-part limited series was published entitled ‘Doctor Who: The Forgotten’.

DWM where in the very first Doctor Who comic strips was published is now being managed by Panini Comics. Since they have acquired the license to publish DWM they were able to restore 10 volumes of the original DWM. The reprints already featured the 5th-6th, 8th and 10th Doctor, The7th Doctor will be featured this year. Today, the 10th Doctor is being featured on Doctor Who Magazine.

BBC UK created a way for Doctor Who fans to create their own Doctor Who comics. By visiting BBC UK site, anyone will be able to tell their own Doctor Who adventures through the BBC comic maker. This just shows that the Doctor Who hype has not still gone to sleep but will still be staying up for a very long time.
